Hannah Brenner Johnson

Hannah Brenner Johnson is a law professor and author. Her research explores the complex intersection of law and gender. She is particularly interested in manifestations of inequality that occur within systems. Embracing a feminist identity, her scholarship focuses, broadly, on issues concerning the legal profession and gender-based violence. She has vast experience as a professor, teaching at both the law school and undergraduate levels. In addition to her work as scholar and educator, Brenner Johnson is an experienced academic and nonprofit leader. She is currently a Professor of Law and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at California Western School of Law in San Diego.
